Tucked into a private corner of Penvores Farm, The Field Room is our take on a shepherd's hut — thoughtfully designed, surprisingly spacious and surrounded by its own established garden.

Inside is a king-size bed with quality bedding, a well-equipped kitchenette with gas hob and fridge, and a characterful private shower room finished in wood and tile.

Outside, a wooden deck provides space for dining, while a hammock hangs between mature trees and a firepit makes a great spot for evenings outdoors.

There's also a covered area with useful storage for surfboards, paddleboards and other equipment — particularly handy for making the most of the nearby coast.
