Although tucked away in the countryside, we're only minutes from beaches, coastal walks and some of Cornwall's best places to eat, making Penvores Farm an ideal base for exploring while enjoying the peace and privacy of rural life.

Penvores Farm is located just a few miles south of Helston, in the heart of the Lizard Peninsula.

Despite our peaceful rural setting, we're only seven minutes from Poldhu Cove and within easy reach of countless beaches, hidden coves, coastal walks, cafés, pubs and restaurants. Our location also provides excellent access to the rest of Cornwall, making it easy to explore somewhere new each day.

Penvores Farm is perfectly positioned for exploring the very best of West Cornwall.

Poldhu Cove is around seven minutes away, while Kynance Cove, Mullion, Gunwalloe, Coverack, Porthleven, Praa Sands, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole, Land's End and St Ives are all within an easy drive.

The South West Coast Path is also close by, making Penvores Farm an excellent base for walkers, beach lovers and anyone wanting to experience Cornwall's spectacular coastline

Our booking system continually checks prices across Airbnb and Booking.com to ensure you'll always receive our best available rate when booking securely through our own website. Booking direct also means you'll be dealing with us personally from the moment you book.

You can cancel your booking for a full refund up to 30 days before your arrival date.

Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are non-refundable, so we strongly recommend taking out suitable travel insurance to protect you against unexpected cancellations or changes to your plans.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel your stay, we will refund all payments made directly to us. We cannot, however, accept responsibility for any other costs or expenses relating to your trip, such as travel, transport or other bookings.

A car is the best way to make the most of your stay, giving you the freedom to explore the many beaches, coastal walks, fishing villages and attractions across the Lizard Peninsula and beyond.

That said, it's certainly possible to visit without one. The 34 bus stops right outside Penvores Farm at The Bridge, Nantithet, providing a direct link to Redruth railway station, where you can connect with services from London Paddington and elsewhere in the UK.

The route then winds its way through the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, serving many villages and attractions before reaching Lizard Village, Cornwall's most southerly village, and returning along the same route.

Although Penvores Farm includes several holiday accommodations alongside our family home, each property has been carefully positioned to provide plenty of privacy and personal outdoor space.

Many of our guests tell us how peaceful the farm feels. It's somewhere to slow down, switch off and enjoy the quieter side of Cornwall.

With around 25 acres, we're better described as a smallholding than a working farm.

Our ambition is to continue improving the land by encouraging wildlife, increasing biodiversity and carefully regenerating the landscape. Over time, we also hope to introduce a small number of animals as part of that journey.

Regrettably, no.

We don't currently accept dogs at Penvores Farm.

Our accommodation has primarily been designed with couples in mind.

Babies in arms are welcome, and some accommodation can also accommodate one child when staying with a single adult. We generally don't accommodate two adults and one child together, as our properties have been designed around couples' stays.
